COUNCIL PICNIC

For the first time, our Council is planning a Family Picnic.  It will be held September 27th (Saturday), beginning at 12 noon at St. Andrew Hall.  This will take the place of our Pot Luck Dinner for September.  The Council will furnish hot dogs, hamburgers and beverage.  Everything will be prepared by the Knight's own special chefs.  Please bring a side dish or salad (lettuce, potato, cabbage, etc.) to share.  Some fun games will be offered.  Please come and enjoy a good time with fellow Knights and their families.  Lets make this an annual event for September.

OPERATION HOPE

The dates for Operation Hope are set.  Please set you calendar for helping passing out tootsie rolls and collecting for those with intellectual disabilities.  The dates are October 11th and 12th as well as October 18th and 19th.  More information will be forthcoming.

KNIGHT'S PRAYER LIST

Please check out our updated Prayer List.  There is a tab at the top of the page.  Please pray for these follow Knights and their family member.

DINNER DANCE & SILENT AUTION
The Council will have their annual Columbus Day Dance on Friday, October 17th, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM chaired by Joe and Dottie Gariti and Brent and Catherine Tracy.  This year it will be a dinner dance at Moss Creek with live music provided by the Ray Cummings Group.  As an additional attraction, we will also be having a "silent auction".  In order to have a successful dinner/dance and, hopefully, make money for our charities, we will need the Knights to both attend the dinner dance and to sell tickets to  friends and associates.  The cost is $40.00 per person.

We view the "silent auction" as a fun event as well as a potential money maker.  However, we will need the Knights to contribute items for the "silent auction" and to solicit local businesses.
In order to co-ordinate the solicitation of businesses and avoid duplication of calls on businesses, Jim and Bettie Coyle and Rob and Kate Lang have agreed to co-ordinate and act as a ''clearing house" for the solicitation and to collect donations. Please contact either of them directly for the making of donations and prior to soliciting local businesses.
